ok, the tea has 11 leaves now, the the 11th is pretty small still. I got my paycheck, and it was only a measly $325, which will get me an HID lamp, but there are a few things I want before I do that. I was thinking about buying a greenhouse, because thats where I want to end up, in big greenhouses, but I only have one 5 inch tall plant, so for now I will keep it in my closet.

Anyway, peace out.

June 08,

Wow, it's been awile sence I last posted here in my blog. Well some stuff that has happened that you have missed: I got a job, and work full time now as a janitor's assistant, I built up a new computer for myself, my mom got a video camera that I can use, I turned 16, and my tea has grown a lot. Sorry that picture above isn't very good, but my tea plant now has 10 leaves, and is about 4 and a half inches tall, so it is very compact, which I don't necessarily want, but is fine for now. I am planning on getting a 400w metal halide lamp, and a ventilation system for my closet.

I want to get a greenhouse within the next year, because that means I can have more space, and the benefit of the sun providing MORE light than what I am producing, and if I get a good greenhouse I can perform the same research, development, and experiments that I can indoors.

The current plant status is not the best, I am overfeeding, and my plant is showing signs of it, however the vigor in growth has improved greatly, and I think if I keep with the current mix of nutrients, or maybe a little lighter on the nutrients, the vigor in growth will increase even more. algae has been an ongoing problem, and is getting worse and worse, I need to find a good way to control it, and fast, because it's really bugging me.

Next Friday, I am getting my first paycheck and the first things on the list of stuff I need to get are, new nutrients, and a 400w mh lamp. I want a different brand of nutrients, there is another brand I am looking at, it is chemically derived, but it is supposedly the best out there, and I want to try it, and the metal halide lamp is just to have more light, and higher quality light, for faster growth, and better plant health.
